Apple started the camera notch era with the iPhone X and continued this design until the iPhone 14 Pro models. The company, which includes the camera slot called Dynamic Island instead of the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro models, plans to make the next big design change on the iPhone 16 Pro.

Smartphone manufacturers have long used the notch and punch-hole design for cameras and sensors on their devices. On the other hand, while work continues on the under-screen sensor and camera technology, some brands such as Samsung have already started to use this system. We know that most companies want to transfer this technology to their phones as soon as possible.
Apple may soon start using this system on its own phones. According to the allegations, Apple will hide the Face ID sensor of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max models under the screen. However, it is stated that the camera will remain visible for a while, as it is on other Android phones. Thus, iPhone models can appear with only a small camera hole on the screen.
