According to the latest information, Balancer’s domain has been compromised and users are being asked to approve a malicious contract that could empty their wallets. As of now, which is in the very early stages of the incident, it is reported that $238 thousand has been stolen.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, the protocol is limited as the incident only affects the frontend part. cryptocurrency their funds are thought to remain safe. The problem seems to be limited to the hijacked front-end only. The Balancer team stated that it is working to resolve the issue and ensure the safety of its users’ funds.
