Decision Made About Three People Who Made Street Interviews

Three people, known for their street interviews yesterday morning, were detained in raids on their homes. With the decision taken today, the punishment to be given to three people has been determined.

About the three people who were detained yesterday, namely Hasan Köksoy from Self Correspondent, Arif Kocabıyık and Turan Kural from Additional TV house arrest warrant. Arif Kocabıyık explained what happened in his statement after the decision.

‘The number of investigations exceeded 100’

Yesterday morning at 07:00, they knocked on our door in an organized manner to 3 houses. They searched the houseThey confiscated my phone, computer and even my child’s tablet. We went to the police station at 08.30 and we thought they would take our statement and release it, but the prosecutor issued a 24-hour detention warrant. The accusation is that they claim that an account named ‘smart sergeant’ previously broadcast Whatsapp conversations about Mujahideen First and that we are the owner of this account. Because Mujahid İlk, my brother-in-law and my partner, Turan Kural, had set the target two weeks ago. We don’t know who owns the account. They asked us, “Are you managing the account?” The prosecutor’s office referred us to the court with the request for house arrest. The real intention is street interviews, but they are trying to get it from somewhere. We are the people who are on the street and earn our living on the street. Why house arrest? Our lawyer asked for the right to sign for probation, but he insisted. they gave me house arrest as if they were kidding.
