Alleged attack in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv A vehicle intentionally drove into a group of people in Israel on Friday. According to the authorities, one person was killed and five others injured in the attack in the city of Tel Aviv. The victims are tourists. A police officer who was near the scene of the crime “neutralized” the driver of the car when he tried to draw a gun. The authorities initially spoke of an attack with a terrorist background.

It was the second deadly attack on Friday after two sisters were killed when their car was shelled in the occupied West Bank. The nationality of the tourist killed in Tel Aviv initially remained open.

According to his office, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the police to mobilize all reserve units of the border police. He also instructed the military to provide additional forces.
