Dax starts stable – oil prices continue to rise

Frankfurt The Dax started trading with slight losses on Tuesday. Shortly after opening, it was down 0.2 percent at 14,486 points. The day before it had closed with a plus of 0.5 percent at 14,518 points. The leading European index, the Euro-Stoxx 50, also started trading with slight losses. In contrast, the Tec Dax is slightly up.

The debate about further sanctions by the West against Russia is currently causing uncertainty. Stricter restrictions on oil and gas imports are under discussion. In the face of the alleged atrocities committed by the invading Russian forces in Bucha, Ukraine, calls for a complete ban on energy imports from Russia are increasing.
