Dax remains looking for direction – futures market signals price slide for the weekend

Dusseldorf After rising by more than 800 points since the end of November, the Dax is looking for direction again. Apparently, investors do not want to position themselves clearly ahead of the big events of this trading week. The good news: There should be a new direction by Monday next week at the latest.

Today, Tuesday, the Dax is striving to rise again with a price of 15,680 meters and an increase of 0.4 percent in the first hour of trading. As early as yesterday, Monday, the leading index initially tried to continue the rally. And with the daily high of 15,794 points, an important hurdle on the way over the 16,000 point mark was quickly overcome. But then investors took profits again, the Frankfurt benchmark was almost unchanged from trading at 15,621 points.
