Dax in a critical area – price decline at Siemens Energy continues

Dusseldorf After a turbulent weekend, the German stock market started the new week with losses. The leading index Dax was 0.4 percent down at 15,768 points in the first hour of trading.

The Frankfurt stock exchange barometer is unimpressed by the brief uprising in Russia: there, the heavily armed Wagner mercenary force, led by former Putin confidant Yevgeny Prigoshin, initially started a march in the direction of Moscow. On Saturday evening Russia announced an agreement with the result that Prigozhin withdraws into exile in Belarus.

The Dax had fallen on all five trading days in the past week. This is the longest losing streak of the year. He accumulated a minus of 3.2 percent and approached the important support zone of 15,600 to 15,700 points.
