Dax gives in – but the breather of the previous week should come to an end soon

Dusseldorf Can the Dax maintain its high level? At the start of the week, the answer to that question is yes. In the first hour of trading, the leading index was at 14,400 points, a drop of just 0.2 percent. This means that only a small part of Friday’s gains is given up, when the stock market barometer ended the week up 1.2 percent at 14,431 points.

There are even increasing signs that the so-called sideways consolidation of the past week will soon come to an end and the Dax will climb again. Accordingly, Konstantin Oldenburger from the online broker CMC Markets says: “If there are no disruptions, the Dax has the best chance of continuing its upward trend after the healthy break this week”.
