Dax closes significantly in the red – rising gas prices are weighing on the stock market

Dusseldorf The Dax extends its setback on Tuesday. The leading German index closed 0.86 percent lower and ended trading at 13,096.93 points. The stock exchange barometer closed on Monday with a minus of 0.3 percent and a final value of 13,210 points.

This breather is not surprising. Since July 14, the Dax has temporarily gained almost 1000 points. As long as the Frankfurt benchmark remains above the 13,000 point mark, little will change in the current trend. So far, the leading German index has processed the news of lower gas deliveries well.
