Dax closes in the red – Hellofresh shares continue their brilliant rally

Dusseldorf Investors on the German stock market were mostly cautious on Tuesday. The Dax closed 0.5 percent lower in the evening at 15,715 points. However, there is still no clear trend to be seen. In the past two days there was only a slight interim recovery, which is already under threat again.

For capital market expert Thomas Altmann, the fear of “taking positions now and being caught on the wrong foot on Thursday is huge. That’s why restraint is the motto of the hour.” The European Central Bank will meet on Thursday this week and will present its monetary policy course.

For Konstantin Oldenburger, market analyst at the online broker CMC Markets, “on Thursday it is not about whether the ECB will raise interest rates again or not, but whether it intends to pause afterwards.” In his opinion, this should be enough to give the stock market the necessary positive impetus.
