In the statement made yesterday evening by the Ministry of Science and Technology of South Korea, it was announced that the 6G network will be launched in 2028 by using world-class technology and advanced software-based mobile networks, as well as by strengthening the existing infrastructure.
In the process, the government will encourage local companies to develop the materials, components and equipment required for the 6G network. It also plans to strengthen its supply chain to support this network and process. For example, the project with a budget of close to 500 million dollars is currently underway for 6G feasibility studies.
