Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) recently launched a domestically produced car.
At the launch, which was followed closely by automobile followers, information about TOGG’s future vision as well as automobile production was shared.
Aware of the fact that their world-famous rivals have turned from automobile companies to “technology companies”, the managers stated that TOGG also wants to be a company that produces technology.
TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş stated that they will benefit from blockchain technology in the security wing and will issue utility tokens, and said:
“Blockchain stands out as a technology that will be used not only for financial technology, but also for the security of smart devices.
Blockchain technology will also enable vehicles to have digital wallets over time. The developing and unchanging technology of the big data world will be blockchain.
Digitized data and other assets will be securely stored and transferred via the blockchain. Therefore, blockchain and artificial intelligence will be at the center of ecosystems.”
Some sources stated that the name of the utility token that TOGG will issue will be Toggen, and it was shared by the TOGG CEO.
