Tesla under fire

Dusseldorf Tesla’s Annual General Meeting this year is special for several reasons. For the first time, it will take place completely virtually, so there will be no shareholders on site. But everyone can follow the event live on Thursday evening.

Tesla boss Elon Musk and other Tesla board members answer the questions of the investors in the Gigafactory in Texas. This is also a first. The factory has developed as far as the one in Grünheide near Berlin. Due to the choice of location, some Tesla fans speculate whether the start of production at the plant in Texas will also be announced at the annual general meeting.

What also happens for the first time: serious contradiction from shareholders. The advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Service (ISS) recommends that investors not re-elect two members of the Board of Directors: Kimbal Musk and James Murdoch.
