It was announced that hundreds of dead and thousands of injured were reported after the earthquake, which was effective in the surrounding provinces such as Kahramanmaraş and Hayat and Adana in the Southeastern Anatolia region. It was reported that while nearly 2,000 buildings were completely destroyed, at least hundreds of them were heavily damaged.

“We experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 centered in Pazarcık, an earthquake that affected 10 of our cities. From the very first moment, we started to gather at AFAD with all our ministers and then we started to make the first interventions. Our President has been following and managing the earthquake from the very first moment.

We are dealing with extremely severe weather conditions. In these weather conditions, it was started to move to the regions as quickly as possible. We lost 70 of our citizens in Kahramanmaraş, unfortunately we anticipate that these numbers will increase. There are 200 injured, 300 buildings were destroyed. We have 4 deaths, 7 injured and 200 destroyed buildings in Hatay.

20 casualties, 200 injured and 83 destroyed buildings in Osmaniye; 13 casualties, 22 injured, 100 destroyed buildings in Adıyaman; Our 14 losses in Diyarbakir; Urfa 18 casualties, 200 injured, 60 destroyed buildings; We lost 80 in Antep, 581 destroyed buildings; 8 losses, 50 destructions in Kilis; 10 casualties and 118 injured in Adana; 47 casualties, 550 injured in Malatya and there are 300 destroyed buildings.
