Counter-offensive runs slower than hoped – Baerbock agrees to Ukraine another 381 million euros

Moscow: Shot down three drones

According to the Defense Ministry, Russia has repelled another attempted drone attack in the Moscow region. The three flying objects were brought down on Wednesday with jammers and did not cause any damage, the ministry said. It was a Ukrainian attack.

There was no comment from Ukraine, which generally does not comment on possible operations outside of its territory. Reuters could not verify the information. Russia has repeatedly reported drone strikes on its territory, including several drones that reached the Kremlin and residential areas in Moscow in May.

Two of the drones were intercepted as they approached military warehouses on Wednesday, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said. The state news agency Tass reported that the missiles were aimed at a military unit in the city of Kalininets.
