Consumers are paying more and more attention to organic farming

Dusseldorf The proportion is still small, but the rates of increase are considerable: When buying their food, more and more people are checking whether it comes from organic farming. Modern organic supermarkets have long since left the dusty charm of the 1970s shriveled carrot shops behind. Even discounters like Aldi or Lidl and food chains like Rewe or Edeka have discovered organic and are constantly expanding their range.

The large food and drugstore chains are offering more and more organic food. This enables consumers to compare prices and quality better, since the conventional variant is often only two shelves away.
