Company of Heroes 3 Coming to Consoles: Here’s the Release Date

The Company of Heroes series has a unique place among strategy games. Set in different fronts of the Second World War, the games engage the players with battle scenes that require both action and tactics. Company of Heroes 3, the last game in the series, takes place in the Mediterranean region and offers new mechanics, factions and maps.

Company of Heroes 3, Released for PC on February 23, 2023 and received high ratings from critics. The game’s graphics, sounds, gameplay and story were praised. The producer of the game, Relic Entertainment, has officially announced that it is working on the console version to bring the game to more players.

Company of Heroes 3 is coming to consoles on May 30, 2023, so what’s in the console version?

The console version of Company of Heroes 3 will offer the same content as the PC version. The game has two different single player modes. The first one is about the wars in the Mediterranean. Dynamic Story Map mod. In this mode, players both participate in real-time battles and determine the overall strategy as a general. In this mode, where every decision changes the outcome, every game offers a different experience.

The other single player mode is Story Driven mode. In this mode, players witness the dramatic aspects of combat through the eyes of certain characters. There are four different factions in the game: Allies, Axis Powers, Italian Resistance and International Battlegroups. Each faction has its own unique units, abilities and gameplay. Players choose the faction they want can fight in both single player and multiplayer modes.

On the gameplay side, of course, there are customizations for the console. The most notable of these is the feature the developers call ‘Full Tactical Stop’. With this feature, console players will be able to make important decisions by activating tactical pause instead of having to make critical decisions quickly while the game is flowing, but the game will not flow in the background.
