BMW i Vision Dee features!
The BMW event held today has turned into a parade of stars. Many names took place, from David Hasselhoff, the lead actor of the Knight Rider-Black Lightning series, to the famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Governor of California.
We saw at the event what BMW wanted to emphasize. Here, Pontiac Firebird brand KITT from Knight Rider and Volkswagen Beetle from Herbie: Full Throttle posed with i Vision Dee on stage. Of course, the message was that all three were much more than just a car.
Although the technical specifications of the newly introduced i Vision Dee model have not been shared, we have seen many of the technologies that will be offered in the car. Anyway, Dee stands for digital emotional experience. That’s why we know it will be a smart device that will stay in constant communication with its driver.
When we look at the design of the car, we see that it has a very minimalist form. It also uses BMW’s E-Ink technology. However, unlike the iX Flow model shown last year, it can switch not only between black and white tones, but also between all colors.
Of course, this concept vehicle has more than exterior design. For example, when we look at the interior console, we do not see any screen. Instead, Shy-Tech touch sensors on the dashboard allow the driver to set 4 different levels for digital content to be projected onto the windshield.
It should also be noted that the i Vision Dee, introduced by BMW today, will not remain a concept. Because it offers a glimpse of what we will see in the new NEUE KLASSE models that the company will put on sale in 2025. Therefore, although it is not exactly the same vehicle, we will be able to experience these introduced features ourselves.
Finally, let’s raise a question that comes to mind here. The colors of the cars sold in Turkey are processed on the license. So much so that even when you have a different color coating that you can completely remove in a few minutes, you have to get it licensed before you hit the road.
However, there is no substance in force for cars such as the i Vision Dee, which can enter many colors from yellow to green, blue to red, navy blue to orange. For this reason, vehicles will either be sold without this feature or a new arrangement will be made until 2025 so that they can only be processed in gray.
