Coinbase’s Former CTO Founded an Investment Fund Bearing His Name

Balaji S. Srinivasan, former CTO of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and former general partner of Andreessen Horowitz, announced that he has established an investment fund under his own name.

According to the statement made by Srinivasan, the fund was created to increase his seed investments in projects working in areas such as cryptocurrency, web3, deep learning, augmented reality and virtual reality.

Srinivasan had backed startups such as Akasa, Alchemy, Benchling, Cameo, CoinTracker, Culdesac, DapperLabs, Deel, Digital Ocean, Messari and OpenSea.

A minimum investment of $10,000 will be required to participate in the fund. As of January 1, the minimum duration of the fund from which contributions will be received will be 10 quarters. It was announced that the management fee will be 2.5 percent.
