Claim: Did SEC Officials Talk to Bitcoin (BTC) Inventor? Here are the details!

Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett recently tweeted: US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and renowned venture capitalist Tim Draper. Bitcoin (BTC) creator by Satoshi Nakamoto He claimed that he knew his true identity.

Did Bitcoin (BTC) Producer Satoshi Nakamoto Talk to the SEC Five Years Ago?

Terrett made this sensational claim after obtaining a copy of former Director Bill Hinman’s public agenda. Also included in this agenda is a meeting organized by Satoshi and Draper and SEC official Valerie Szczepanik.

However, it is worth noting that the meeting, which took place on August 23, 2017, is not a secret. On August 26, 2017, Draper filed a complaint for being deceived by an impostor who introduced himself as Satoshi Nakamoto.

Shortly after that, The Verge gave some details about that meeting. Draper and fake Satoshi were apparently discussing a new cryptocurrency offering (ICO).

The fraudster was trying to convince potential investors that he actually created the original cryptocurrency.

Speaking to The Verge, the scammer claimed that one of the SEC commissioners tried to speak to him in Japanese.

At the time, the agency declined to comment on the report. However, the recently aired program seems to confirm that talks with the fake Satoshi have taken place.

However, it remains unclear whether SEC officials realized they were talking to a scammer. Emails reviewed by The Verge show that regulators are not taking the allegations of fake Satoshi seriously.

The number of scammers claiming to be Satoshi is quite large, but the real identity of the Bitcoin producer is still unknown.
