Circle to Search feature has started to come to older models too!

The Circle to Search feature, which we encountered in the Samsung S24 and Google Pixel 8 series, is starting to come to older models as well. It was previously predicted that the pre-Android 15 feature would not come to other models. However, Google started to distribute artificial intelligence-supported Circle to Search to new models as of yesterday. So which models will receive Circle to Search?

One of the artificial intelligence features that attracted the most attention with the Samsung S24 series is circle to search. The feature developed by Google is currently available in the S24 series and Pixel 8 series. However, according to a detail that has emerged, Google has started to offer this feature to older Android devices. Accordingly, models that will receive Circle to Search began to emerge.

Of course, on the Android side, the models for which Google offers this update are Pixel models. Accordingly, the update for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models started to arrive as of yesterday. Circle to Search will start coming soon for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Additionally, this artificial feature will come to Pixel 8a, 7a and 6a models.

It was also revealed here that Android 15 support will be required for the artificial intelligence Circle to Search feature. Because this feature is not offered to the Pixel 5 series. As you know, the Pixel 5 series will no longer receive Android updates. This shows that in the Android world, the feature will only come to devices that support Android 15.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, Android 14 and OIS camera! Samsung Galaxy M55 5G introduced

Samsung introduced its new mid-segment Android phone. Here are the features and price of this model called Samsung Galaxy M55 5G…

Although Google offers wider Android 15 support, most brands do not offer Android update support for more than 2 years. Finally, Samsung announced that it will offer 4 years of Android update support to its new mid-segment models.

If we need to translate it exactly into Turkish, it would be correct to call it circle and search. Circle to Search has a working logic similar to Google Lens. It is possible to search by circling the object you want to search on the smartphone screen. Unlike Google Lens, the Circle to Search feature can be activated without opening an application.

If Android users use navigation keys for this, they can access the feature by pressing the home button. Those who use gesture navigation instead of the navigation key will access the feature by swiping left and right. Of course, let us remind you that the feature is currently available for the S24 series and Google Pixel 8 series and 7 series. In short, Circle to Search currently appeals to a very limited number of users.

By the way, this artificial intelligence search feature also has interesting different options such as scribbling on the object you want to search, pressing and holding, and manually marking it.
