China will break the record with its wind farm!

While renewable energy systems are gaining more ground all over the world, wind farms are playing an important role in this regard. China, the world leader in wind energy, plans to provide electricity to millions of households with its new wind farm.

China to break electricity production record with wind farm

China is preparing to break its own record in wind energy. With plans to build a new wind farm capable of powering more than 13 million homes before 2025, the country will take another huge step towards renewable energy.

It is planned to provide 43.3 gigawatts of energy from the project, which will be implemented in Guangdong province of China. Work on the project will begin “before 2025”. According to Guangdong province officials, the plant will be the world’s largest wind farm when completed.

Clean energy attack from Apple!

Apple has announced that it is increasing its investments in clean energy to reduce carbon use and combat climate change.

Jiuquan Wind Power base, a massive 20 gigawatt-capacity facility in China, is currently the largest wind farm in the world. It is stated that China, which has more than 25 percent of the world’s wind energy capacity, is the world leader in wind energy.

The power plant, which will be built in the Taiwan Strait, will host thousands of powerful wind turbines. The 10-kilometer-long farm will be located 75 to 185 kilometers offshore. Due to the region’s unique topographical features and windy location, these turbines will be able to operate between 43 percent and 49 percent of the time, that is, between 3,800 and 4,300 hours each year.

According to the information received, the wind farm, which will be able to produce 43.3 gigawatts of energy, will be able to provide electricity to 13 million homes. More than 99 percent of Norway’s electricity comes from hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 31 GW. The record-setting offshore wind farm will be larger than all power plants in Norway combined.
