Cevahir Teknosa became the new center of digital and accessible experience

Embracing the rising experience-oriented retail trend all over the world, Teknosa transformed its largest store, Cevahir Teknosa, which hosts millions of visitors annually, into a customer-oriented digital concept. The store, which was opened with the participation of Teknosa Chairman Max Speur, Teknosa CEO Sitare Sezgin and Executive Board Members, offers more than 6,600 product types to consumers with advantageous prices and value-added services in an area of 4 thousand square meters.

Continuing its store investments with digital channels within the framework of its multi-channel strategy, Teknosa, one of the Sabancı Holding subsidiaries, continues to renew its stores across Turkey with a more digital and accessible concept.

In this context, Teknosa also transformed the Cevahir Shopping Mall store, which constitutes the largest meeting point with its 4 thousand square meters of area, into a digital concept. The store, which appeared before technology enthusiasts with its renewed face, was opened with the participation of Teknosa Chairman Max Speur, Teknosa CEO Sitare Sezgin, Executive Board Members and business partners.

Cevahir AVM Teknosa Exxtra Store, which hosts millions of visitors annually, offers consumers a much more digital and simple experience with different experience areas in the new concept. Customers have the opportunity to order from teknosa.com via product information screens while in the store, and with experience areas created for many product groups, they have the opportunity to more easily access the products they are looking for and experience them in the comfort of their home.

It is possible to enjoy coffee at that moment in the Tekno Coffee area created in the store. The store, where the payment point and Tekno Service areas are more visible, includes walking areas designed for visually impaired customers and buttons where they can easily reach sales consultants.

For physically disabled customers, there are special sections at the cash register and in the Techno Service area. In the store, which also features a sustainability wall, consumers can learn about many issues such as energy saving and carbon footprint, and can leave their electronic waste in recycling bins.

Teknosa CEO Sitare Sezgin stated that they were happy to transform their largest stores into a digital concept and said:

“As the technology retail company with the most widespread store network in Turkey, we are implementing many innovations to offer our customers a holistic and comprehensive experience. In this context, we offer a comfortable shopping experience away from content confusion in our customer-oriented, more digital, accessible and sustainable concept.

We have been transforming our stores across Türkiye into a new concept since 2022. Our Cevahir Teknosa store was the 18th point we renewed with this concept. “In our goal to become a digital platform with stores, we will continue to seamlessly integrate our stores with our digital channels.”

Teknosa Retail Sales Deputy General Manager Enver Yelkenci emphasized that the basis of the new store concept is digitalization, sustainability and accessibility and said:

“In our new concept, we provide service with a simple structure that focuses on the experience of our customers before, during and after shopping. We are receiving very good feedback from consumers on this path that we set out to understand customer expectations and needs correctly and provide an experience beyond expectations.

We achieved higher sales turnover in our stores that we converted to a digital concept, compared to our similar stores. Our rate of attracting visitors to our stores and our basket size also increased. “We will continue to make a difference with the experience and values we offer on all our channels.”

Teknosa transformed its store in Tepe Nautilus AVM into a digital concept on the same day as its Cevahir store. The renewed store brings the most needed technology products to consumers, from white goods to information technologies, from telecom to small home appliances.
