The problem this week:

From her point of view, Saskia N. (name changed) negotiated her salary poorly with her current employer. The data expert has several years of professional experience and has a gross annual salary of EUR 60,000. In order to get more, she regularly indicated in feedback discussions that she would like to have a position with more responsibility.

Her employer has now offered her a probationary team leader position. However, she is unsure whether the effort is worth it. So far, the boss has avoided questions about her future salary. Should she continue to pursue the management position in order to get her desired salary? What are the alternatives?
