Call from the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine to PlayStation and Xbox!

Apple, which has implemented major restrictions against Russia in the last week, has struck its final blow. All sales in the country have been temporarily suspended.

Occupied Ukraine seeks help from the rest of the world. Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov asks many large companies to support them through Twitter, as they can. Fedorov, who has received the feedback of these requests so far, has now called for support for Xbox and PlayStation.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister has called for sanctions on video game companies and esports organizations. Fedorov stated that these companies should not remain silent against Russia’s uncivilized attitude and should go beyond condemnation. The Deputy Prime Minister published a letter with a statement on Twitter. In his call to Xbox and PlayStation, he included the following sentences.

Xbox and PlayStation! You are certainly aware of what is happening in Ukraine right now. Russia is declaring war not on Ukraine, but on the entire civilized world. If you support human values, you should leave the Russian market. I urge Ukraine to do everything possible to protect Europe and ultimately the entire democratic world from bloody authoritarian aggression.

In his letter, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the whole world should not remain silent about this war in Europe in 2022. Stating that one of the biggest blows to Russia is technological sanctions, Fedorov called for Russian and Belarusian teams to be banned from all international e-sports events.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov had recently asked Elon Musk for help with the interruptions in internet access. The famous businessman, who did not remain silent on this issue, had activated the Starlink internet network for the whole of Ukraine. Fedorov also sent a message of support to Tim Cook. Then Apple stopped its sales in Russia and blocked Russian users from the App Store.
