Call for Help from NASA to Bring Stone Samples from Mars

For many years, studies have been carried out to find out whether there is life outside our own planet and, if so, where this life is located. NASAmay have found traces of life on the red planet Mars. A new plan is needed to bring these samples to Earth.

Previously on Mars for 2.4 billion dollars to Jezero Crater Downloaded the Perseverance tool NASAhad made plans to bring the samples the vehicle found to Earth. It was stated that there was a lake in this region in the past and that traces of microscopic life on Mars could be found here. The rover, which has been collecting stone and soil samples for a long time to find traces of life, collected 24 samples.

It is unknown how the collected samples will be returned.

Under normal circumstances, NASA has a plan for how to bring back these samples, but this plan is not plausible at all. In the original plan, it would cost 11 billion dollars to bring the samples to our planet. Moreover, bringing back these examples about 20 years progress. That’s why this plan was shelved.

NASA is now asking companies operating in the private sector to develop alternative solutions. Making a statement on the subject, NASA said: Nicola Fox, Science Duty Manager, “We are looking for unconventional and cost-saving possibilities to bring the samples back to earth. This is, of course, a very ambitious goal. We should definitely pursue very innovative new design possibilities and leave no stone unturned.” he said.
