Ricardo Salinas Pliego, the 3rd richest person in Mexico, urged investors to buy Bitcoin, stating that the USA looks like an “irresponsible third world country” due to its policies of mass repression.
Stating that Bitcoin, which he calls new gold, can play an active role in eliminating the imbalances in the fiat money market, Pliego is known for his support for Bitcoin.
Mexican billionaire businessman and founder of Grupo Salinas, known to have invested in Bitcoin for years, Pliego admitted in 2016 that he bought Bitcoin when it was around $800.
In a statement he made a few months ago, the famous billionaire, who said that BTC is a financial instrument with international value, labeled all fiat currencies as “fraud” and stated that he would only invest in Bitcoin for the next 30 years if he had to choose.
In a recent tweet, Pliego, who slammed the USA for creating a “fake money scale”, doubled the BTC support and advised everyone to enter the Bitcoin ecosystem as soon as possible.

Adding that Bitcoin is the “new digital gold,” the famous name said, “Both assets have similar use cases, but the cryptocurrency is superior.” commented.
