Here comes the budget-friendly Nokia G42 5G: Available at a very affordable price in India
Nokia’s new budget-friendly model G42 5G with Snapdragon 480 went on sale in India. Moreover, at a very affordable price of 12,600 Rupees ($ 150, 4,080 TL). The features of the phone are as follows:
Nokia G42 5G has a 6.56-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch and a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD +). The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 450 nits.
Internally, Nokia G42 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor and a 5,000 mAh battery. Its back panel is made of 65% recycled plastic and ships with a 20W charger, a cable, and a case.
Nokia was not stingy when it came to the camera either. The phone has a triple camera system consisting of a 50 Megapixel primary sensor, 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP lens for selfies and video calls.
In addition to 5G, the device supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS and USB Type-C. Other features include a 3.5mm jack input, MicroSD card slot, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The phone runs Android 13 and is guaranteed to receive two Android OS updates and three years of security updates.
As we mentioned, the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model of Nokia G42 5G was launched in India (now called Bharat) with a price tag of $ 150. The device is available in purple and gray color options.
