The Beige Book document, a document that the FED regularly publishes regarding the course of the economy, has finally been published.

• Price increases remained moderate on average, at approximately the same pace as the last report.
• Overall economic activity has expanded slightly on a balanced basis since the end of February.
• Employment increased at a slight pace overall.
• The economic outlook among interviewees was generally cautiously optimistic.
• Interviewees generally predict that inflation will remain steady at a slow pace going forward.
• Manufacturers in several regions perceived upside risks to near-term inflation.
