Stuttgart Bosch exceeds its sales forecast and will “expect double-digit growth” in the current year. The new deputy boss Christian Fischer told the Handelsblatt in his first interview. The company had previously assumed an increase of six percent. This means that the Bosch Group should have sales of more than 87 billion euros in 2022.

In view of the geopolitical crises, the foundation group is revising its strategy. “We have to rethink our medium-term investment priorities. The topic is on the agenda of the entire Bosch leadership,” said Fischer. The plants in Russia are to be sold.

In China, where Bosch generates around a fifth of the Group’s sales, there are no plans to reduce its involvement. In order to better cushion the risks from China in the future, Bosch is counting on India, among other things, with its 1.4 billion people. With growth rates of more than 30 percent over the past two years, Bosch now has sales of more than two billion euros there. “This is not a flash in the pan,” emphasized Fischer.
