BMW Believes Electric M3 Will Be “Unbeatable”

According to BMW M CEO Frank van Meel, the fully electric M3 will be an unrivaled car.

Continuing its investments in electric cars bmwcontinues its efforts to replace the M3 model with a fully electric version. The German automotive giant will introduce its cars, one by one, that will be produced on the Neue Klasse platform in the coming years. One of these models will be the fully electric M3, which will replace the M3.

Making a statement about the vehicle, BMW’s M CEO Frank van Meel, used very assertive statements. Speaking to Motor Trend, the CEO emphasized that he wanted to use a four-electromotor setup in this model. Accordingly, each wheel will be powered by a separate engine and controlled by a central system. Thus, the control of the vehicle will be increased to the highest possible level.

A powerful and performance sedan is coming

Head of BMW’s R&D department Frank Weber If the car has a megawatt of power (1359 horsepower) and claimed that the battery chemistry and cooling of the vehicle would be a system that has never been seen before. The electric motors designed by the company will have an 800 Volt architecture and special software for trouble-free operation of this system.

BMW also said the M3 is lighter and a rear-wheel drive variant also plans to launch it on the market. We can see that the power in this model is also halved as the number of engines is halved. Still, even this power promises quite impressive performance.

3 series based on Neue Klasse 2026in will be on the road. For M3 2027good will have to wait.
