“Dear Binance users,

Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals for Ether (ETH) and Wrapped Ether (WETH) across multiple networks from 06/09/2022 to prepare for Ethereum consolidation and to secure the allocation of forked tokens in the event of a chain split.

The suspend will continue until the defragmentation is complete.

Deposits and withdrawals of Ether (ETH) and Wrapped Ether (WETH) on the affected networks will resume once the networks are deemed stable.

Affected tokens

ETH (Arbitrum) – ETH on Arbitrum network
ETH (OP) – ETH on the Optimism network
WETH (RON) – WETH on the Ronin network

Please do not forget:
ETH trading will not be affected by these transactions.

Deposits and withdrawals for the above tokens will be suspended from 06.09.2022 at 05:00 CEST.

No ETH or WETH deposits will be credited on the above networks at the time of suspension, and in the event of a chain split, any forks will not be eligible for credit.

We will reopen deposits and withdrawals once the merger is complete and networks are stable and we will inform users at the next announcement.”
