As a non-profit organization, Giggle Academy would have no revenue while deploying gamification and an adaptive curriculum for end users.
He stated that the recruitment process of employees who would work directly with him had begun at that time. To this end, the founder of crypto exchange Binance published a request for teachers who can create content. This move sparked positive reactions from the wider cryptocurrency community, who felt that the project would have a positive impact on millions of people.
There is currently a team of 10 people
In his latest update, CZ confirmed that Giggle Academy currently has a team of 10 people, but some of them are part-time and some are full-time. All of these employees will work remotely. To keep the team in sync, a conference call is held three times a week in addition to other small snapchats. The recruitment process is still ongoing as CZ wants a team of 15 people.
In terms of content, the first phonics lesson is complete and just waiting to go live. Considering the fact that the average household, especially Giggle Academy’s target market, is more likely to purchase an Android device before other types, CZ noted that it’s better to release an Android version before the Web version. The team also thought that children would find it easier to use touch-screen smartphones. Overall, Giggle Academy is still under construction and CZ is striving to make it meet their expectations.
What is expected for CZ’s hearing in April?
It is noteworthy that CZ hinted in the heat of the hearing that he planned to launch this project. During this time, he did not share many details about the project because he admitted that it was only educational. His case is still ongoing but he has not made any comments about it recently. Before the launch of Giggle Academy, CZ’s bail bond was changed. This forced him to remain in the United States until after his sentencing hearing.
Binance co-founder is allowed to travel in the US. However, this must be done after proper notification has been made to Pre-Trial Services. He will also be allowed to travel with a third-party guardian who will have his passport and other travel documents. Until his trial concludes, CZ is bound by these restrictions as he awaits his sentencing hearing, scheduled for April 30.
