The future of electric cars in Turkey: 2023 will be the turning point
Important announcements have been made about the future of electric vehicles in our country. It was shared that 6 thousand electric vehicles are currently registered in traffic.
Fiat became the best-selling automobile brand from Turkey
According to the report for the January-October period, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market in Turkey 4.5 percent increased.
In the January-October period, the vehicle market increased by 4.5 percent compared to the previous year. 614,891 number the sale was made. Again for the same period, light commercial vehicles increased by 13.2 percent in total. 139,579 vehicle has been sold. Automobile sales increased by 2.2 percent. 475,312 cars sold.
Another report published by ODD is about automobile market segments… Accordingly, between January and October, 86.4 percent of the market is low tax rates. in segments A, B and C. consists of vehicles. B segment vehicles with 146,566 units 30.8 percent share, while C segment cars 54.9% own share. The number of vehicles sold is 260,926.

Fiat, which sold 12,255 cars in total, is followed by Ford with 6,643 sales and Renault with 5,191 sales. Other noteworthy companies on the list are Volkswagen, Peugeot, Honda and Toyota.
