Bayraktar TB2 broke a record with 750 thousand flight hours!

Bayraktar TB2, the armed unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Baykar, managed to make history by breaking many domestic and international records and achieving the first. As of today, Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs broke a record with 750 thousand flight hours and became the national aircraft that has served in the sky for the longest time.

Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs broke a record with 500 thousand flight hours in August last year. As of today, it has managed to reach 750 thousand flight hours. Of course, this success they demonstrate in the field is also reflected in the company’s sales figures.

As of today, the number of countries shaking hands with Baykar to purchase TB2 has increased to 32. The total number of UCAVs produced (including the production line) reached 500. In other words, Turkish aircraft fly over many countries from Asia to Europe and even Africa.

Bayraktar TB2 SİHA broke a record by flying uninterruptedly for 27 hours and 3 minutes in difficult geographical and climatic conditions such as high temperatures and sandstorms in its demo flight in Kuwait on July 16, 2019. National UCAVs continue to operate in all adverse weather conditions such as desert heat, freezing cold, snow and storms encountered in many different regions of the world, from Europe to Africa.

The national UAV, which broke the Turkish altitude record with an altitude of 27 thousand 30 feet and the longest flight time in the air in the tactical class of 27 hours and 3 minutes in the history of Turkish aviation, went down in Turkish aviation history with 750 thousand hours of flight. National UCAV also holds the title of the aircraft that has served Turkey successfully for the longest time.
