Bancolombia Starts Cryptocurrency Trading With Gemini Partnership Agreement

Winklevoss Capital Management and the Winklevoss brothers, the founder of the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, announced that they have made a crypto money agreement with Colombian bank Bancolombia in an official statement on the stock market.

According to the statement, Colombian citizens through Bancolombia, the country’s largest bank from 14 December Cryptocurrency directly from bank accounts from (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash) they can buy.

Gemini will provide infrastructure for withdrawals, deposits and cryptocurrencies of the country’s official currency, the peso. Bancolombia will oversee customers’ peso funds.

It is thought that Latin American countries want to develop economically by entering the crypto money market earlier than other countries, due to the increasing inflation in recent years and the depreciation of their currencies against the dollar.
