165 W fast charging detail among the Nubia Red Magic 7 features
Nubia shared its Red Magic 7 series features on China’s social media platform Weibo official account. The fast charging adapter with the 165W logo misled many people before. In this sense, most people were sure that the Red Magic 7 series would come with 165W fast charging. However, the ambitious gaming phone Red Magic 7 will come with 135W fast charging support on the battery side. The Gallium Nitride adapter, produced for the game phone Red Magic 7 series, indeed has 165W fast charging support.
Although this detail is frustrating, it is still the fastest charging technology to be released. It is known that Xiaomi has 200W fast charging trials in this sense. However, a phone with this speed has not yet been released to the market. On the other hand, the Redmi Magic 7 Pro model may come with 165W fast charging feature.
The Red Magic 7 Translucent Edition, which appeared on TENAA, has the same features as the Red Magic 7, except for the transparent back panel.
Red Magic 7 and its features
The Red Magic 7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the chipset hosts one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Adreno 730 graphics unit.
In addition, both models will have 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Nubia used a 20,000 rpm active cooling fan on the phone to keep the temperature at a minimum in situations that require intense processing such as gaming.
The screen features of the Red Magic 7 series also attract a lot of attention. Promising a smooth and quality gaming experience, the series features a 165 Hz refresh rate and an OLED panel.
Red Magic 7’s RAM and storage options are also starting to become clear. Because the device, which appeared with 18 GB RAM + 512 GB storage in Geekbench last week, now appeared in the FCC database with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
The Nubia Red Magic 7 will come with 135W fast charging and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. For now, it is not clear how long this battery will charge. However, Nubia previously had a record of one hundred percent charge in 15 minutes in the Red Magic series. With this new fast charging technology, it is expected that this record will be reduced to 10 minutes.
