Asking purchase prices and rents are increasing across Germany

Dusseldorf After several months of falling real estate prices, there are increasing signs that, in addition to rents, purchase prices are also rising again. According to figures from the largest German real estate portal Immoscout24 for the second quarter, the asking prices for apartments for sale across Germany are increasing again due to the pressure on the rental market.

Gesa Crockford, Managing Director of Immoscout, says about the figures: “Driven by the high level of competition on the rental market, the associated sharp increase in rental prices and the stabilization of the financing rate, the demand for real estate for sale is increasingly returning.”
