YouTube Music introduced 5 new mood filters
YouTube Music introduced an “activity” section with mood filters in 2020. This section included modes such as Work, Energy, Focus, Relaxation and Sports. The platform has further expanded these options and added 5 new mood filters.
YouTube Music seems to focus more on people’s emotions with its new mood filters. People who wanted to cry and relax, as well as people who were in a good mood or having a romantic moment, were not forgotten. Here are the new modes;
- To cry
- Party
- Romantic
- I’m in a good mood
- Sleep

The recent innovations of the platform are not limited to this. Google wants users to be more active on YouTube Music. The technology giant brings the comments section on YouTube to the music side with the same design. From now on, YouTube Music will have a comments section.
Additionally, action was taken recently for the Live Lyrics feature. With the new feature, song lyrics will be presented to the user with larger texts and better spacing. Lines in live lyrics will be highlighted in white, while other lyrics will appear in a toned grey.
