Apple Removed This Cryptocurrency App From The App Store!

Apple, one of the important names in the technology field, announced that the crypto money wallet application called TokenPocket has been temporarily removed from the App Store.

Corporate payment giant PayPal had sent a letter of complaint to Apple on the grounds that its trademark rights were violated. Apple also cited this complaint letter from PayPal as the reason for the removal of the application.

PayPal sent its lawyers earlier this year to notify TokenPocket of the trademark infringement.

TokenPocket, on the other hand, confirmed that they were informed by PayPal, saying that they contacted the PayPal company about trademark infringement in the past months.

TokenPocket claimed that they wanted to resolve this issue amicably, but the PayPal company did not respond to their offer.

“We take this matter very seriously. We sent experts to explain the differences between the logos of both companies, to do the trademark research of both parties, to classify them, and to share details in the form of images and text.”

Although TockenPocket crypto wallet does not say exactly what the problem is with PayPal, it is considered that the problem is related to the application logo, based on comments from users.

Because many users drew attention to the similarity between the TokenPocket application and PayPal’s logo. Many users were sharing, “I was going to download TokenPocket, but I accidentally clicked on PayPal”.

So far, neither PayPal nor TokenPocket has made any official statements about this new development.
