In a statement on the subject, Apple said that they are aware of the problem and continue to investigate its source. The error is expected to be resolved with the next iOS update.
Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, who has been fighting with Apple on legal grounds for a long time due to the removal of Fortnite from the App Store, made a post about this problem. Sweeney claimed that Apple made such tricks in the operating system, and said:
I verified this on iOS 15.4. With Spotify installed and in the Dock, installing Apple Music led to Spotify being removed from the Dock and put Apple Music there without asking me. It happens without running Apple Music. So it’s pretty obvious that Apple has equipped its operating system to do this!
