But the excitement around these technologies is turning into commercial returns as Metaverse tokens and AI-based crypto tokens dominate the digital assets market. Meanwhile, co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniakseems not very happy with the future of Metaverse, or rather, the future in Metaverse.
Speaking to CNBC about the future of human intervention in the world of artificial intelligence, the Apple co-founder said that even if AI is around, humans will always be in control. Saying that people cannot enjoy the artificial intelligence experience for more than an hour, Wozniak pointed to the limits of human tendency with digital immersion. Contrary to popular perception that the Metaverse could be the next big thing, Wozniak thinks it could just be fun.
“The metaverse is difficult. You can showcase some of the most amazing experiences in the world. But after an hour, I was fed up. I see it as entertainment.”

Meanwhile, Metaverse tokens are starting to dominate the altcoin space in the cryptocurrency market. Since the beginning of January 2023, a metaverse token Decentraland (MANA) more than doubled. Render (RNDR), another Metaverse-related cryptocurrency, has quadrupled in value in the past month.
