A major shipping error made by Apple managed to go viral on social media. According to the video shared on TikTok, a person who ordered 4 iPhone 15 Pro Max received more than 60 phones from Apple.
A TikTok account recently ordered 4 iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple, one 1TB and three 256GB. However, when he received the package, he realized that there were 60 phones, all 1TB. The price of these devices in Turkey is 92 thousand TL each, making it 5.5 million TL.
The video posted on TikTok shows three large boxes being delivered to the user. While each box contains 20 iPhone 15 Pro Max, this means they are worth 5.5 million TL.
It remains unclear for now how or why such a major error occurred in Apple shipments. However, it is thought that there was a confusion during the order and 60 iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB were sent to the wrong address.
It is also thought that someone processing the order mixed up the quantities. In other words, 60 smartphones may have been sent instead of 6.
We think that Apple will also conduct an investigation into such a major shipping error. However, there is also the possibility that the company may remotely deactivate or request the return of faulty phones.
