Fuel price hikes one after another it doesn’t seem to end. Just last week, while gasoline and diesel prices were increased by tens of cents for four consecutive days; The liter price of gasoline was based on 19 TL.
With the effect of the Ukraine-Russia war, brent oil prices skyrocketed, and it seems that the citizens have not had time to digest any hikes yet. Because today, on Monday, March 7th, a new price increase for gasoline and diesel came. Energy Oil Gas Supply Stations Employers’ Union, petrol 57 cents, 1.44 TL hike for diesel announced his arrival.
After the hike, the prices in the three big cities will be as follows:
Istanbul:
- Gasoline: 18.68 -> 19.25 TL
- Diesel: 19.79 -> 21.23 TL
Ankara:
- Gasoline: 18.78 TL -> 19.35 TL
- Diesel: 19.9 TL -> 21.34 TL
Izmir:
- Gasoline: 18.80 TL -> 19.37 TL
- Diesel: 19.89 TL -> 21.34 TL
