Tekken: Bloodline will be released in 2022!
The story of the Tekken series, which the children of the 90s knew well, was asked to be adapted as a movie and series several times over the years. However, the resulting productions – especially the Tekken movie released in 2010 – were buried by the critics. Even Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the famous games, said that the movie was too bad to watch.
Contrary to expectations, the Netflix adaptation appears not as an animated movie or series, but as an anime. We see Jin Kazama in the lead role of the production called Tekken: Bloodline. Then, The King of Iron Fist tournament, where we will see the legacy of the Mishima family and a lot of supernatural power, is also included in the story.
The Mishima family has a mutation called the Demon Gene that has been carried for generations. This mutation also has a corrupting nature. Hence, we see closely the effects on Heihachi Mishima, his son Kazuya Mishima, and his grandson Jin Kazama.
