When it comes to desktop mode on Android, the first thing that comes to mind is Samsung’s DeX platform or Motorola’s Ready For feature. According to leaked information, Google has started working on a desktop mode similar to the DeX platform in Android 15.

There is also a desktop mode in Google AOSP (Android Open Source Project). Google first added it in Android 10 quite simply to allow developers to test apps in multi-screen scenarios.
Since then, desktop mode has gradually improved and now easily manages to run two applications side by side. While more apps can be opened simultaneously using the free-form multi-window experience, there are some limitations.
Feature that will make lovers happy from Android 15!
Android 15 will have a feature called Audio Sharing. This will allow playing a single song on multiple headphones simultaneously.
It looks like Google is working on a multi-window Android desktop experience. Android Authority discovered interesting innovations by playing with developer options in the latest Android 14 QPR3 2.1 beta.
There will now be a new title bar with a small menu that appears when you tap the small button at the top of the full-screen application. The menu includes full screen, split screen or freeform mode options.
In freeform mode, you can drag and resize windows as you wish. The “Paste to edge” feature allows you to paste a window to the left or right half of the screen.
