Google added new features to the operating system with the Android 15 developer preview 2 version released yesterday. According to the statement, Android 15 will be able to exceed the 60 fps limit in mobile games. Here are the details…
Android 15 will exceed the 60 fps limit in mobile games
The published update includes a code that disables the default frame rate for games. This code allows unlocking peak performance by disabling the 60 fps limit.
Android mostly limits games to 60fps, and developers must enable higher frame rates on a device-by-device basis. You will be able to unlock higher frame rate with this pass.
The setting in question is found in the developer options. To enable developer options on your device Settings > About > Software Information You need to press the Build Number in the menu several times.
It is designed for developers to experiment and test their games at higher frame rates. However, this feature will be accessible to the end user, like many other settings in the developer options.
