A popular crypto analyst has updated his forecasts for several notable altcoins in the market. The list of cryptocurrencies followed by the analyst includes Solana, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. Here are the details.
The analyst, known by the crypto market as DonAlt, predicts that altcoins will underperform in the short term. However, he argues that some altcoins, such as Bitcoin Cash (BCH), will not be caught in this widespread decline.
“The one thing I’m pretty sure about is that altcoins as a whole will continue to underperform. But Bitcoin Cash has been doing well for the past few days and it’s clear there will be outliers like this.”
Bitcoin Cash was trading around $105 on June 20, trading at $276 at press time. This shows that it has experienced an increase of more than 162%.
Looking at Litecoin, DonAlt is warning of a bearish altcoin.
“I’m not sure if the situation with Bitcoin Cash is over, but I’m pretty sure the Litecoin game is over.”
Litecoin was retesting the $95 level while the analyst announced his forecast. Litecoin surged a bit afterwards and is currently trading at $100.
Finally, DonAlt thinks that if Solana suddenly drops to $10, it would be a good buying opportunity.
“[Solana] would I buy it if it goes to $10 a candle right now? Yes. I usually like the $10 level.”
Finally, Solana is trading at $29.16, up more than 33.5% in the last 24 hours.
