iPad Pro, which comes with an OLED screen, does not have the Always-on Display feature
Announced as one of the most important features, the OLED screen was used for an iPad model for the first time in Apple’s history. Although it has been used in iPhone and Apple Watch products for some time, all previous iPads lacked OLED technology, coming with LCD or mini-LED displays. The new iPad Pro with a variable refresh rate screen was still not introduced with the Always-on Display feature.
The Always-on Display feature, which has been used by Samsung in almost all models for a long time, was expected for iPad models after iPhones. However, Apple did not meet this expectation despite having an OLED screen with a variable refresh rate.

In previous leaks, it was stated that the iPad Pro would have an OLED screen and come with the always-on feature. Even if one of the leaks turned out to be true, the other one would not have been received positively by Apple, so this feature was not introduced again.
Switching to the LTPO panel in the iPhone 14 Pro model, Apple can activate the always-on feature since it has a minimum 1Hz refresh rate. In the new model iPad Pro, the variable refresh rate is fixed from 10Hz to 120Hz refresh rate.
