Almost 76,000 new infections, but the incidence is falling again slightly – Scholz calls on “Joko and Klaas” to be vaccinated

The seven-day incidence fell again slightly to 439.2 from 442.9 the previous day. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports an incidence of over 1000 for 28 of the 401 German urban and rural districts. The day before, there were 32 districts. The district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains in Saxony remains the hotspot with an incidence of 1961. This was also higher in the previous days.

7. Leipzig (Saxony) – 1436 (1496)

8. Saale-Holzland-Kreis (Thuringia) – 1372 (1351)

9. Hildburghauen (Thuringia) – 1360 (1350)

10. Elbe-Elster (Brandenburg) – 1306 (1694)

The district of Wilhelmshaven in Lower Saxony has the lowest incidence with 72 (previous day 68).
